My Story: Why I Became a PA and Founded BeWELL
My journey in healthcare began over two decades ago, rooted in a passion for helping people live healthier, better lives. As a Physician Associate, I've always believed healthcare should go beyond treating symptoms. It's about asking the right questions, recognizing early warning signs, and addressing potential health concerns before they become more serious.
Over the years, I've come to appreciate that neither conventional Western medicine nor functional medicine hold all the answers. I believe the best way to serve my patients is by bringing the strengths of both together, combining medical science with a holistic, root-cause approach that focuses on the whole person.
This philosophy inspired me to establish Ledesma Wellness Center, and eventually, The BeWELL Group, with a vision to make wellness more accessible beyond the walls of my practice.
My faith is the foundation of who I am and the heart behind everything I do. I believe God has given each of us unique gifts and a purpose. I see my journey in healthcare as more than a career. It is a calling, an opportunity to serve others with grace. My prayer is that God continues to guide my steps, allowing me to use the gifts He's blessed me with to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many, and all to His glory.
